Elon Musk predicts AI smarter than humans by next year
Elon Musk, the multibillionaire tech mogul, has predicted that superhuman artificial intelligence (AI) that is smarter than any human could exist as early as next year. This is a significant revision of his previous forecast, which suggested that superintelligent AI would not emerge until 2029.
Power and Computing Limitations
However, Musk’s prediction comes with a caveat. He warns that the sector’s increasing power and computing demands could become unsustainable, potentially limiting the evolution of AI. Last year, the AI industry faced a shortage of Nvidia chips, and this year, it is transitioning to a voltage transformer supply. Musk anticipates that in a year or two, the primary constraint will be the electricity supply.
Musk’s Concerns and Efforts in AI
Musk has expressed concerns about the potential ramifications of superintelligent AI. In 2023, alongside the launch of his AI startup, xAI, Musk stated, "If I could press pause on AI or really advanced AI digital superintelligence I would. It doesn’t seem like that is realistic so xAI is essentially going to build an AI. In a good way, sort of hopefully". He emphasized the importance of worrying about a Terminator-like future to avoid such a scenario.
xAI’s Progress in AI Development
A year later, xAI is striving to lead the development of superintelligence. Musk claimed that the latest version of its chatbot, Grok AI, was on par with GPT-4, the leading model from OpenAI. However, GPT-4 is more than a year old, and competitors have already met or exceeded its capabilities.
Musk’s Track Record with Predictions
It’s worth noting that Musk’s predictions have been known to be overly optimistic. For instance, he previously forecasted that a Tesla would be able to drive autonomously from New York to Los Angeles within two years and that SpaceX would fly to Mars in 2018, neither of which has come to pass.
AI Investment
Investment Opportunity on AI Device
Invest before this company becomes a household name
What if you had the opportunity to invest in the biggest electronics products before they launched into big box retail, would you?
Ring changed doorbells and Nest changed thermostats. Early investors in these companies earned massive returns, but the opportunity to invest was limited to a select, wealthy few. Not anymore. RYSE has just launched in 100+ Best Buy stores, and you're in luck — you can still invest at only $1.50/share before their name becomes known nationwide.
They have patented the only mass market shade automation device, and their exclusive deal with Best Buy resembles that which led Ring and Nest to their billion-dollar buyouts.

Dove’s Anti-AI Stance
Dove, a Unilever brand, has pledged not to use artificial intelligence (AI) to portray real people in its advertisements. This decision is part of Dove’s long-standing Real Beauty campaign, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Real Beauty Campaign: A Revolutionary Approach
The Real Beauty campaign was launched in 2004 and has reshaped the beauty industry by challenging and redefining prevailing beauty standards. Instead of using conventional models seen in beauty ads, Dove opted for authenticity, featuring real women of diverse body types, ages, and ethnicities.
The Impact of the Real Beauty Campaign
The campaign’s social impact goals were evident from the outset. Dove aimed to change the narrative around beauty, inspiring women worldwide to embrace their unique beauty. Furthermore, the campaign sought to influence other brands and the advertising industry to adopt a more inclusive and realistic portrayal of women.
