Meta adds Garmin, Strava, and Health Connect support to older Ray-Ban and Oakley smart glasses, enabling fitness tracking and Autocapture features previously exclusive to newer models.

  1. Meta is rolling out Garmin, Strava, and Health Connect integration to:

    • Ray-Ban Meta Gen 1 & Gen 2

    • Oakley Meta HSTN

  2. These features were previously exclusive to Oakley Meta Vanguard.

  3. New features include:

    • Autocapture with Garmin

    • Real-time workout metrics via Meta AI

  4. Rollout is server-side and gradual; not all users see it yet.

  5. Requires Meta AI app (v244.0.0.30.167) and Meta glasses software (v19.2).

  6. Users may need to create a new Meta AI account to access features.

  7. Meta AI app must be installed on Garmin devices via Connect IQ store.

  8. Meta glasses can now respond to workout queries using Garmin data.

  9. Ray-Ban Meta Display glasses are excluded from this update.
