Microsoft Kills Copilot by Mistake!
Microsoft's latest Patch Tuesday update for Windows 11, released on March 11, 2025, has inadvertently caused the uninstallation of the Copilot app on some devices.
This issue, acknowledged by Microsoft, also results in the app being unpinned from the taskbar.
The bug does not affect the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, and users can manually reinstall the app from the Microsoft Store and pin it back to the taskbar as a temporary workaround.
Your Voice = Amazon’s Data!
Amazon is set to make significant changes to its Alexa voice assistant, raising privacy concerns among users.
Starting March 28, 2025, the company will discontinue the "Do Not Send Voice Recordings" feature, which previously allowed users to prevent their voice data from being sent to Amazon's cloud.
Instead, all voice recordings will now be processed in the cloud, with Amazon claiming they will be deleted after processing.
This change coincides with the launch of Alexa+, an AI-enhanced version of the assistant that offers advanced features like Voice ID, personalized responses, and cross-app functionality.
Claude is Getting a Voice!
Anthropic, the AI startup behind the chatbot Claude, is reportedly developing voice capabilities to make interactions more natural and intuitive.
Mike Krieger, the company's Chief Product Officer, revealed that Anthropic is working on prototypes for a voice mode, which could allow users to communicate with Claude through spoken commands.
This feature is part of the company's broader vision to evolve Claude into a more interactive and user-friendly tool, especially for desktop applications.
