Gemini Now Takes Notes on Meet Calls
Google Meet has rolled out a new feature called “Take notes for me”, powered by the company’s Gemini AI platform.
This feature automatically generates real-time summaries during meetings and captures key points.
When a meeting starts, the AI begins taking notes, allowing participants to focus on discussion, collaboration, and presentation.
The notes are saved in a Google Docs file and attached to the calendar event, accessible to meeting attendees.
Latecomers receive a “summary so far” email, catching them up on what has already been discussed.
Initially available to Google Workspace customers with specific add-ons, this feature enhances productivity and collaboration during video calls.
The AI-generated notes are stored securely in Google Drive, maintaining privacy and accessibility.
The launch aligns with Google Meet’s commitment to effective communication and useful tools for users.
How to Detect AI-Created Images
Identifying AI-generated images can be challenging, especially as AI models improve rapidly. However, there are ways to determine whether an image is created by artificial intelligence. Let’s explore some methods:
Check the Title, Description, and Comments: Look for clues in the text associated with the image. Sometimes, descriptions or hashtags mentioning AI software can reveal its origin.
Look for Anomalies in the Image: Examine the image closely. Pay attention to subtle irregularities, such as mismatched earrings, warped facial features, or unnatural lighting.
Search for Watermarks: Some AI-generated images may have watermarks from the tools or platforms used to create them. Check for any visible watermarks.
Use AI Image Detectors: Several tools use computer vision to analyze pixel patterns and assess the likelihood of an image being AI-generated. While not foolproof, they provide a good starting point. Some reliable detectors include:
