DeepSeek
DeepSeek in Danger...

The Trump administration is considering stringent measures against DeepSeek, a Chinese artificial intelligence company, as tensions in the U.S.-China tech rivalry intensify.
Proposed actions include banning U.S. sales of Nvidia's advanced AI chips to DeepSeek and restricting American access to its AI services1.
DeepSeek's rapid rise, affordability, and alleged misuse of American intellectual property have raised concerns among U.S. officials.
DeepSeek launched its open-source AI model, DeepSeek-V3, for $6 million in January, disrupting the market and attracting global attention.
However, OpenAI has accused the firm of violating its terms of use by distilling its models1. A U.S. congressional report claims DeepSeek funneled American user data to the Chinese Communist Party and manipulated content to align with state narratives.
Additionally, DeepSeek reportedly acquired 60,000 Nvidia chips, including 20,000 under U.S. export controls, prompting fears of unauthorized transfers1.

Gemini
Android Gets Free Gemini Live Feature

Google has announced that its AI-powered Gemini Live screensharing feature is now available for free to all Android users.
Initially launched earlier this month for Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25 devices, the feature was originally intended to be exclusive to Gemini Advanced subscription holders.
However, following positive feedback, Google decided to make it accessible to a wider audience.
Microsoft Copilot
Copilot Now Watches Your Edge Screen

Microsoft has introduced Copilot Vision, a groundbreaking AI assistant feature now available for free within the Edge browser.
This innovative tool allows users to interact with the AI by speaking, enabling it to interpret and respond to on-screen content.
Copilot Vision is designed to assist users with various tasks, such as cooking or job preparation, by highlighting relevant information displayed on their screens.
While the system-wide features of Copilot Vision require a subscription, the free version focuses on enhancing user experience by providing real-time AI guidance.
This move reflects Microsoft's commitment to making AI tools more accessible and user-friendly.
