The Future of TV - Prime Video's New Trick
Amazon Prime Video has launched a new AI-powered feature called X-Ray Recaps. This tool provides personalized, spoiler-free summaries of TV shows, including full seasons, individual episodes, and specific segments.
The feature is currently in beta for Fire TV users in the US and will expand to more devices by the end of 2024.
X-Ray Recaps uses Amazon Bedrock AI technology to analyze video content, subtitles, and dialogue, generating concise descriptions of key plot points and character developments.
This innovation aims to help viewers quickly catch up on their favorite shows without missing crucial details.
Copilot's Office Coup…👊
Microsoft is expanding its Copilot AI features to all Microsoft 365 Personal and Family subscriptions in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
Previously available only with the Copilot Pro subscription, these features will now be accessible to more users, albeit with a subscription price increase.
Subscribers will receive a monthly allotment of AI credits for use in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Designer.
The rollout aims to gauge customer reaction and scale server capacity before potentially expanding to other markets.
