Meta Says Goodbye to AI Profiles!
Meta has decided to delete its AI-powered profiles on Instagram and Facebook after users rediscovered them and engaged in viral conversations.
These profiles, introduced in September 2023, were mostly deactivated by summer 2024.
However, a few remained active, sparking renewed interest and controversy. Users criticized the lack of diversity in the development team and the inability to block these profiles, which Meta acknowledged as a bug.
The company has removed these profiles to address the issue and clarify that the recent Financial Times article was about their long-term vision for AI characters, not a new product announcement
Copilot AI Now on Your TV!
At CES 2025, Samsung and LG showcased their latest AI-powered smart TVs.
Samsung introduced Vision AI technology for personalized TV experiences and the Neo QLED 8K QN990F.
LG revealed its wireless OLED evo M5 and G5 models with enhanced brightness and image quality.
Both brands integrated Microsoft Copilot into their TVs.

At CES 2025, Withings introduced Omnia, a conceptual smart mirror and scale device that uses AI to analyze health metrics.
Omnia can track weight, blood pressure, sleep, heart health, nutrition, body composition, lung function, and activity.
It integrates data from Withings wearables and provides insights through a 3D body model and voice commands.
The device aims to offer a comprehensive health snapshot and connect users with healthcare professionals for consultations.
While still in development, some features will be available on the Withings app later this year.
