It aims to organize links and summarize findings.
Available as a prototype to 10,000 users at launch.
Different Approach:
Unlike other search engines, SearchGPT prioritizes understanding user intent.

Visa AI Blocks $40B in Fraud

Global Fraud Prevention:
Visa, the world’s largest payments processor, invested significantly in technology, including artificial intelligence (AI).
In 2023, they prevented 80 million fraudulent transactions globally, totaling $40 billion.
These investments aim to safeguard clients and customers from evolving scams and cyber threats.
Projected Cybercrime Costs:
By 2025, cybercrime is estimated to cost the world a staggering $10.5 trillion.
This economic impact rivals that of a major nation’s gross domestic product.
Ongoing Challenges:
Despite these efforts, fraud remains a persistent challenge.
Criminals adapt, using new approaches to deceive unsuspecting consumers and businesses.
Google: Chrome Users Still Tracked

Zero-Day Vulnerability: Google has released an emergency security update for Chrome to address the fifth zero-day vulnerability discovered in the browser this year. This particular vulnerability, tracked as CVE-2023-5217, is already being exploited by hackers.
Severity and Exploitation: The flaw results from a heap buffer overflow weakness in the VP8 encoding within libvpx. It can lead to app crashes or arbitrary code execution. Notably, Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG) found that this zero-day was exploited by hackers to install spyware.
Immediate Update Needed: While the emergency update may take days or weeks to roll out to all Chrome users, I recommend checking for updates manually. The latest version (117.0.5938.132) contains critical security fixes.
