According to a recent Pew Research survey highlighted by AI experts, cashiers, journalists, and factory workers are the professions most likely to see significant job displacement due to the advancement of artificial intelligence in the next two decades.
The survey, conducted between August and October 2024, involved over 5,400 U.S. adults and more than 1,000 AI experts who attended AI-related conferences.

In a memo shared with staff and posted publicly, Lütke emphasized that AI usage is now a fundamental expectation for all employees, describing it as a productivity multiplier.
He highlighted examples of employees achieving remarkable efficiency by leveraging AI tools, tackling tasks previously deemed implausible.
