AI in Surface PC
AI Surface PC Coming in Cheap Price
Microsoft has introduced two new Copilot+ PCs—the Surface Laptop and Surface Pro convertible tablet—designed to run AI models without relying on the internet.
These devices maintain the familiar design of previous Surface models but come with notable improvements, including lower prices, smaller screens, and longer battery life.
The Surface Laptop now starts at $899, which is $100 less than last year’s model, while the Surface Pro is priced at $799, a $200 reduction.
Both devices feature Arm-based Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus chips with eight cores, compared to ten cores in previous versions.
The Surface Pro now has a 12-inch screen, while the Surface Laptop sports a 13-inch display, both slightly smaller than their predecessors.
However, Microsoft claims the Surface Laptop can last up to 16 hours of web browsing, an improvement from 13 hours in 2024.

ChatGPT Gets Smart...and Confused?
OpenAI’s latest AI models, GPT-3o and GPT-4-mini, are designed to improve reasoning capabilities, but they are exhibiting higher rates of hallucinations—fabricated or incorrect information—compared to previous versions.
The GPT-3o model was found to hallucinate in 33% of responses when answering questions about public figures, double the error rate of its predecessor, GPT-1o.
The GPT-4-mini model performed even worse, hallucinating in 48% of similar tasks. When tested on general knowledge questions, hallucination rates jumped to 51% for GPT-3o and 79% for GPT-4-mini.
