AI Love or Real Love?

A recent survey by the Institute for Family Studies and YouGov reveals that 25% of young adults believe AI could replace real-life romantic relationships.

The survey highlights that heavy porn users are the most open to AI relationships and friendships. Additionally, 55% of young adults view AI technology as either threatening or concerning, while 45% find it intriguing or exciting.

The findings also show that young adults with lower incomes and less education are more likely to fear AI's impact on society but are also more open to AI romantic partners compared to their higher-income and more educated peers.

AI Scam Detector is Here🤖

Google has introduced a live scam detection feature for phone calls on Pixel 6 and newer devices.

This AI-powered tool, part of the Phone by Google public beta program, identifies potential scam calls in real-time and alerts users with audio, haptic, and visual warnings.

The feature processes calls on-device, ensuring privacy, and is powered by the Gemini Nano AI model on Pixel 9 series devices. Users can enable or disable the feature through the Phone app settings.

Google plans to expand this feature to more Android devices soon.

iPhone gets Gemini AI!

Google has launched a standalone Gemini app for iPhone users, providing a more streamlined way to access its AI assistant.

The app includes Gemini Live, a conversational AI feature that allows for natural, interactive dialogues.

Users can interact with the AI via text, voice, or camera, and the app integrates with other Google services like YouTube, Google Maps, and Gmail.

This release aims to enhance user experience by offering a dedicated platform for AI interactions on iOS devices.
